A company was giving examinations to their applicants. This was one of their questions:
You are driving your brand new Ferrari one cold rainy evening. As you turn around the corner, you noticed 3 people standing in the waiting shed, waiting for a ride.
Person #1 - An old lady having a mild stroke who needed to be brought to the hospital as quickly as possible.
Person #2 - A doctor who saved your life once or twice before whom you've had great debt of gratitude.
Person #3 - The Man/Woman of your dreams whom you would very much like to get to know.
The catch is, your car can only carry two person at a time. The dilemma is among the 3, who will you bring with you?
There is no correct or wrong answer in this question. If you bring the old lady with you saved her life but then again, we'll all have to die sometime and you might not have the chance again to repay the good doctor or meet the Man/Woman of your dreams. If you bring the Doctor with you, your debt of gratitude is paid in full but then again, you have paid the good doctor monetarily and you'll bear in your conscience whatever happens to the poor old lady you left behind. If you bring the Man/Woman of your dreams you might get to know her but then again, there is no assurance whether your meeting will bloom into a romantic relationship and then you will again be haunted by the thoughts of what happened to the doctor and the poor old lady.
Make your choice. There are only 3 choices.
Better think of a good reason to back up the choice you've made. =)
Have you made your choice?
In case you're wondering what was the answer of the person who got the job, this was his answer.
Have i mentioned there is no correct or wrong answer in this quiz? =)
His answer was:
I will give my car keys to the doctor to bring the old lady to the hospital. And while waiting for the doctor to return, i'll take my time getting to know the woman of my dreams.
Simple right? Sometimes we are very reluctant to give up something of ours (in this case, the car keys) never knowing we could gain much more in return.
